I've been self-employed through most of my adult life and now am semi-retired but stay active writing hubs and blogs. My writing experience is varied. I've done news releases, real estate ads, and newsletters for non-profit organizations.
I'm concerned about social security, health care and how our country is being divided into a rich/poor society while the middle class is slowly disappearing.
I love cooking...on my terms. Having been a working mom I looked for recipes the could be made quickly and would satisfy the eclectic tastes of my family.
I'm active in genealogy research and enjoy learning about the many people in my family tree: where they were born, if and when they moved and the possible reasons why they moved to wherever they ended up living.
I'm also a mom of four adult children, three dogs, one cat, a parakeet and many Koi.
I enjoy reading anything that looks interesting, light gardening and the companionship of my sweet, tolerant and loving pets.
